What's the difference between a Venus line and a Jupiter line? Venus is pleasure and ease right now: good food, good company, a softer day. Jupiter is growth, a bigger life to grow into rather than a nicer afternoon. Many people want one of each within reach, one for living and one for building.
Do I have to live right on my Venus line to feel it? No. The effect is strongest close to the line and fades with distance, so a city nearby still carries some of it. That's also why a short trip works as a test before a move.
