Celestium is made by one person: Jhinna Salinas, who builds under the name With Jhinna. It is a small, devoted piece of work, not a venture-scale product with a growth team behind it. That shapes everything about how it reads and how it treats you.
Why it exists
Most astrology apps ask you to trust a black box: a keyword appears, and you have no way to know whether the sky underneath it is real. Celestium was built to close that gap. The chart is computed on your device from a genuine ephemeris and validated against the reference standard from 1900 to 2090; the Sun agrees to under two-thousandths of a degree, and the math is published for anyone who wants to check it. The astronomy is not a marketing line here; it is the foundation.
How it reads
The interpretations are traditional-first. Before a reading reaches for meaning, it asks the older questions a working astrologer asks: is this a day chart or a night chart, is a planet at home in its sign, does it have the resources to do what its keyword promises. The psychological depth of the modern century sits on top of that discipline rather than replacing it. And every reading is offered for reflection, not prediction; it reads the weather of your chart, it does not hand you a fate to obey.
The line on privacy
No account, no tracking. Your birth data is computed on your device and stays in your hands. It leaves only when you choose to send it, such as sharing a couples invite, and even then it travels encrypted. This is a deliberate constraint, not a feature waiting to be relaxed. A tool that reads something this personal should never quietly become a way to watch you.
